The word CSS is abbreviated as the Central Superior Services of Pakistan that was developed by the Pakistan Government in the year 1973 as per the article 240. The purpose of this examination is to hire the people who are willing to serve the civil services of the Pakistan. The examination question papers are designed to test the students on different extent of courses that differs in terms of their content and questions. Every year it is used to be conducted in the start one time.
The age range of the students for the CSS exam is twenty one to twenty eight years of the interested candidates. The invitations for this exam are distributed in different almost every region of Pakistan in the month of November or December. The date of the exam is confirmed by the Federal Public Service Commission of Pakistan (FPSC) in the starting period of the year. The mandatory subjects which worthy of hundred marks each comprises of Everyday Sciences, English (Précis & Composition), Essay, Current Affairs, Islamiat, and Pakistan Affairs and there are also some additional subjects which are optional in the CSS exam.
For the selection of civil services employees the federal public service commission organizes the CSS exam every year. By the results evaluation of these tests the FPSC assures that the selected candidates are perfect for the jobs and possess all necessary skills needed for the job. The marks allocated for the written paper are 1200. However, it’s mandatory for the students to select the compulsory subject’s worth of 600 marks. And the other six they can select as per their mastery skills. They have to clear the exam by scoring at least passing marks but it is recommended to try getting more than passing marks and make to take highest mark as their benchmark.
After the written exam, there comes the step of medical test. Afterwards psychological test is taken. Then an interview is taken. The candidates who successfully clear all these phases are welcomed and given the civil services jobs as per their performance. These jobs are beneficiary for the candidates from all aspects.
